Alignment Specialist

Braces and clear aligners that straighten your teeth and correct your bite.

Crowded, gapped or protruding teeth are harder to clean and put uneven pressure on your jaw. Our orthodontic treatments move your teeth into the right position gradually and safely, using either fixed braces or removable clear aligners.

What the treatment involves

We start with a full assessment of your bite, including photographs, impressions and an X-ray. From that we build a treatment plan that shows how your teeth will move and roughly how long it will take. You then choose the appliance that suits your routine and budget: metal braces, ceramic braces, or clear aligners you can take out to eat and brush.

What is included

  • Orthodontic assessment with photographs, impressions and X-rays
  • A written treatment plan with the expected duration
  • Metal, ceramic or clear aligner options
  • Adjustment visits every four to six weeks
  • Retainers to hold the result once the braces come off

Step by step

  1. Consultation and full assessment of your teeth and bite.
  2. We agree a treatment plan and you choose your appliance.
  3. The braces are fitted, or your first set of aligners is handed over.
  4. You come in for short adjustment visits as your teeth move.
  5. The appliance is removed and you are fitted with a retainer.

Aftercare

Your teeth will feel tender for two or three days after each adjustment — soft food and normal painkillers are enough. Brushing takes longer with braces, so we show you how to clean around the brackets and wires. Once treatment finishes, wearing your retainer as instructed is what keeps the result; teeth drift back if it is left in the drawer.
