Consultation

A first visit where we examine your mouth, explain what we find and plan your treatment.

Everything starts here. A consultation is the appointment where we find out what is actually going on, rather than guessing. You get an honest assessment, a written plan and a cost before any treatment begins — and you are free to think about it before agreeing to anything.

What the treatment involves

We ask about your medical history, any medication you take and what brought you in. Then we examine your teeth, gums, bite and the soft tissues of your mouth, taking X-rays only where they will change what we recommend. We show you what we found, explain which problems need attention now and which can wait, and give you the cost of each option in writing.

What is included

  • A full review of your medical and dental history
  • Examination of your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues
  • X-rays where they are needed for the diagnosis
  • A written treatment plan with costs and priorities
  • Time to ask questions without being rushed

Step by step

  1. We go through your medical history and what brought you in.
  2. A full examination of your mouth, teeth and gums.
  3. X-rays are taken only if they will affect the diagnosis.
  4. We explain what we found, in plain language.
  5. You leave with a written plan, the costs, and no obligation.

Aftercare

There is nothing to recover from after a consultation. Take the written plan home and read it properly — a good clinic will never pressure you to decide in the chair. If you want a second opinion, ask us for a copy of your X-rays and notes; you are entitled to them. Book the first treatment when you are ready.
